Passenger vehicles, trucks, RVs and motor homes need an emission test if:
- based in the urban areas of Clark or Washoe County
- gasoline powered
- diesel powered**
- and 1968 model year or newer
- Newer vehicles on their 3rd registration, as 1st and 2nd are exempt. Hybrids are exempt for 5 model years.

Bring your fee payment, proof of insurance and your valid registration card or a movement permit issued by the NV DMV.
Your emissions test results are valid for 90 days.
