US: FCC Issues Several KDB Publications
During January and February 2021, FCC published some new KDB guidances for the following topics:
- KDB No. 680106 in regards to the question, “What rules regulate short distance wireless inductive coupled charging pads or charging devices?”.
- KDB No. 901874 in regards to the question, “What is the procedure for the recognition of a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) under the terms of a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA)?”.
- KDB No. 388624 in regards to the question, “What devices require FCC guidance prior to a TCB issuing a grant of equipment authorization, and what are the procedures to obtain this guidance?”.
- KDB No. 987594 in regards to the question, “What are the requirements for obtaining a Certification for U-NII 6 GHz devices operating in the 5.925-7.125 GHz band under Part 15, Subpart E?”.
