Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) Certification

DEKRA is accredited by the Open Charge Alliance to perform OCPP 2.0.1 and OCPP 1.6 certifications.

OCPP 1.6 certification includes interoperability and conformance testing to ensure proper functioning between the electrical vehicle charging station and the back-office. The certificate can be used by charging station and charging station management system (CSMS) vendors to show compliance with OCPP standards. This assures buyers that the charging station or CSMS will work seamlessly with other OCPP-compliance infrastructure.
OCPP 2.0.1 builds upon OCPP 1.6, with improvements including ISO 15118, plug-and-charge, Smart Charge, security, and transaction handling.
DEKRA is accredited to conduct OCPP certifications at its labs in Concord, CA and Sterling, VA.
