DEKRA Insight Opens Office in Hyderabad & Begins Operations in Southern India
Mumbai, India – April 19, 2016 – Expanding its service reach throughout India, DEKRA Insight, a global leader in safety at work, today announced the formal opening of their office in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad office will serve the process safety consulting, training and testing needs of the pharmaceutical and chemical industries in Southern India. DEKRA Insight has also recently expanded its presence in Mumbai and Delhi.
The company has been operating in India since 2002 as Chilworth Technology, providing specialist process safety-related consulting, training, and testing services to many of the region’s largest chemical, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, FMCG and manufacturing companies.
“With the opening of our office in Hyderabad we will be able to provide more effectively serve our clients in south India. Additionally, the DEKRA Insight Process Safety Academy intends to impart training on process safety to the many pharmaceutical and chemical companies in the region” commented Vahid Ebadat, Ph.D., DEKRA Insight’s Chief Technical Officer & Regional Director Process Safety India/Asia.
Ebadat continues, “India is currently experiencing large-scale industrial growth. With this growth comes an increased need for ensuring safety of processes and operations involving flammable gases and liquids, combustible powders/dusts, and reactive chemicals in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. As a result, we see a growing need for process safety education as well as consulting, and testing services in southern India.”
The current Hyderabad office staffed with a team of specialists in process safety consulting, training and testing is soon set to include in their scope of services behavioral reliability, including behavioral based safety.
