REACH & CLP Services
Optimal Safety and Full REACH and CLP Compliance
The European Union (EU) Regulation No. 1907/2006 (REACH ā Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) requires the registration, evaluation, and authorization of all hazardous chemical substances that are produced within the EU or imported into the EU in volumes above one ton per annum. While the EUās CLP (Classification, Labeling, and Packaging) regulation (EEC/1272/2008) governs the classification, labelling and packaging of chemical substances and mixtures, both REACH and CLP require the compilation and submission of a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) which requires physio-chemical data for compliance and risk evaluation. Once a registrant has completed the SDS and registration dossier, they submit the documents to the European Chemical Agency, ECHA.
DEKRA is able to guide you through this complex process, helping you achieve compliance efficiently and effectively. Our comprehensive REACH/CLP range from data gathering to report preparation and submission. Backed by GLP accredited laboratories outfitted to handle powders, liquids and gases, and even substances that are classified, toxic, highly active, controlled or explosive, our team conducts necessary testing.
DEKRA has expert staff, internationally renowned in their respective fields and experienced in cooperating with regulatory authorities, giving advice on test programs and providing guidance on the interpretation of data. Our accreditations reflect this: DEKRA is a REACH Only Representative (OR) for non-EU manufacturers. We are positioned to ensure that test data are dependable and acceptable to European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). Further advantages include rapid turnaround and fast track service on request. Indeed, maintaining solid customer orientation is central to who we are, and tailor-made solutions are our strength.
For REACH and CLP compliance, laboratory testing is often required to determine a range of physico-chemical properties as well as Physical Hazards end points. Below is a sample of a sample of our testing capabilities we are able to offer. Our expert staff can help support you in creating a tailored test plan to ensure you only test for end points pertinent to your material and requirements.
