This course is for those in the aero-engine design and production supply chain who want to be able to interpret the requirements of the AS13100 standard, understand the application of the thirteen AESQ Reference Manuals and the recommended quality tools in them.

Description
This 3-day course focuses on the AS13100 requirements that are supplemental to those in the AS9100 standard. Therefore, experience with AS9100 is required. There are hands-on activities, discussions and exercises to practice using the Reference Manuals and the quality tools, forms, and checklists provided in them.
*All attendees are required to bring their own copy of the AS13100 standard.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the requirements and intent of AS13100.
- Determine the applicability of the AS13100 requirements according to supplier type.
- Identify the 13 AESQ Reference manuals that support the AS13100 standard.
- Analyze the use and applicability of the Reference Manuals.
- Understand the application of the quality tools in the Reference Manuals (8D, FMEA, MSA, Process Capability, APQP, PPAP, etc.).
- Understand and manage Human Factors in aviation safety
