Non-Discrimination
DEKRA Solutions, Inc. does not discriminate based race, color, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, childbirth, physical disability, mental disability, age, military status or status as a Vietnam-era or special disabled veteran, marital status, registered domestic partner or civil union status, gender (including sex stereotyping and gender identity or expression), medical condition (including, but not limited to, cancer related or HIV/AIDS related), genetic information, or sexual orientation in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws. In addition, the Company and its trainers will comply with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination.
Complaints and Appeals
Each student has the right to complain or appeal a course and evaluation. The student is required to write a formal letter identifying the situation or problem to DEKRA Solutions, Inc. DEKRA has thirty days, upon receipt of the letter, to respond to the formal complaint. When a complaint and/or appeal is received, DEKRA will form a team of three people that are not associated with the incident. These three people will consist of at least one instructor and one member of management. This three-person team will then investigate the situation including as needed; contacting the instructor, student, witnesses, or others determined necessary. The final decision from this meeting will be made within 30 business days and the persons involved are notified in writing.
Reasonable Accommodation
Students with disabilities are encouraged to contact DEKRA for a confidential discussion of their individual needs for accommodation during a training event. It is the policy of DEKRA Solutions, Inc. to provide reasonable accommodation to learners with disabilities. It is the responsibility of the learner to contact DEKRA to initiate the accommodation process and/or to notify instructors as soon as possible so that reasonable accommodations can be made.
DEKRA COVID-19 Safety Protocols
DEKRA is a company that strongly believes in science-based decisions and our goal is reduce exposure for you, our colleagues, and our community. DEKRA is constantly monitoring the ever-changing landscape and following the CDC guidelines and recommendations. The plan that is currently in place may change based on these guidelines. This page will be regularly updated to reflect the latest information.
DEKRA and the facilities used for in person, face-to-face training will take the following steps to ensure our customers and staff are protected:
- Contactless check-in
- Temperature check upon entry
- Observe social distancing requirements and/or recommendations set forth by the CDC and local officials
- Ensure meeting room size is appropriate to meet social distancing guidelines
- Require that all staff and attendees wear well-fitting masks that completely cover the nose and mouth except for when eating or drinking. No one without mask with be admitted unless you have a medical reason for not wearing one.
- Require staff and attendees to wash their hands frequently
- Hand sanitizer stations will be available
- Shared objects cleaned frequently based on level of use
- Disinfecting all commonly touched surfaces
- Food service per local guidelines and/or regulations
